SNSD will release their Japanese debut single “Genie” on September 8th. The single will have both the Japanese and Korean version inside. The first press limited edition version will include the music video DVD (of Genie), a photobook and one trading card (Out of 9 possible cards).
On August 11th their new DVD “SNSD Arrival ~ Arrival in Japan Commemoration Disc~New Beginning of Girls’ Generation” will be released, and because the limited edition version contains tickets to the showcase concert, the pre-orders going very well.

On the 30th, SNSD's fan cafe, 'Cistus', posted a newspaper advertisement stating
"Happy 22nd birthday to SNSD's Tiffany who is brighter than gems," in celebration of Tiffany's birthday on August 1st.
The fans showed affection by stating, "With your sweet voice that soothes tired hearts and with your beautiful smile,
you are like a jewel who always shines in our hearts."
They also included, "Please don't be sick," showing their worries about the sick leave and her vocal nodules last month.
