110609 SNSD ranked 2nd on Infoseek’s weekly famous female search ranking
On June 9th, according to the famous female search ranking released by Japan’s Infoseek based on data collected from May 31st to June 6th, SNSD were ranked 2nd behind popular Japanese idol group AKB48. In the previous week, the girls were placed at no.4. Kara who were ranked 10th in the previous week climbed up 3 places to no.7.
Infoseek stated, “The release of their first Japanese album on June 1st put SNSD on the no.2 spot. The two idol groups from Korea and Japan vied for the top 2 places”.
