Following the footsteps of singer Baek JiYoung, Taeyeon has emerged as the next ‘OST Queen’.
Taeyeon recently participated in the Original Soundtrack (OST) for MBC drama ‘The King 2 Hearts’ entitled ‘Missing You Like Crazy’. As soon as it was released on March 28th, ‘Missing You Like Crazy’ took no.1 spot on the real-time charts of major music sites.
On March 30th (am), the OST secured the no.1 spot on Soribada, no.2 on Olleh Music and 3rd on melOn.
Taeyeon’s participation in the OST for dramas ‘Beethoven Virus’ (OST: Can You Hear Me?) and ‘Hong Gil Dong’ (OST: If) had managed to raise the popularity of these dramas and by charting no.1 on various music sites, Taeyeon fully deserves the title of ‘OST Queen’.

Yuri who recently received praises for her acting in drama ‘Fashion King’, was appointed as the new face for Amore Pacific Mamonde.
A representative of Mamonde said, “Yuri who has been receiving love from men and women of all ages because of her outstanding talents and friendly image has been selected as the model for Mamonde”.
The representative further elaborated, “Through the appointment of Yuri, a Hallyu star who possesses a clean and lively charm as a model, we are hoping that she could further strengthen the image and position of Mamonde as a global brand along with Choi SiWon, who was appointed as the first male model for Mamonde last year”.
Yuri who will be carrying out her activities as a solo model for a cosmetic brand for the first time expressed her excitement by saying, “It feels great to be selected as a model for Korea’s leading brand mamonde. In the future, please anticipate the various charms that I will be presenting along with Mamonde”.
The TV CF and online videos are expected to be revealed in April.

At the evening of March 30th, Girls’ Generation member, Tiffany attended the opening night party forEmporio Armani‘s photo exhibition, ‘Momenti di Emporio Armani‘ in Seoul.
Several top celebrities attended the event including Kim Sa Rang, Park Si Yeon, Oh Ji Ho, Lee Dong Wook, and others.
Italy-based, Luxury fashion brand, Emporio Armani launched its first photo exhibition back in 1977 and this exhibition of Emporio Armani image collection was originally published in Emporio Armani Magazine.
It’s reported that globally known photographers, Michel Comte, Max Vadukul, Roxanne Lowit, andAlbert Watson contributed to the creation of the exhibition photos, perfectly capturing Emporio Armani’s works of art.
‘Momenti di Emporio Armani’ will be on display in Cheongdamdong, Seoul from March 31st until April 6th.

Some male fans are venting their frustration after seeing their beloved Girls’ Generation members take part in steamy kiss scenes on TV.
Most recently, Girls’ Generation member Yuri had a passionate kiss scene with co-star Lee Jae Hoonin SBS ‘Fashion King‘. In the script, her character Choi Anna (who was rejected by her professional superior) visits her former flame Jung Jae Hyuk (Lee Jae Hoon) at his home. Jae Hyuk who still harbored romantic feelings for Anna leaned in for a kiss, and Anna welcomed his affection. Yuri’s kiss scene was more steamy than expected and is creating quite the impact.
Ahead of Yuri’s kiss scene, fellow Girls’ Generation member Jessica had a kiss scene with actor Lee Dong Wook in KBS 2TV‘s ‘Wild Romance‘. Jessica who played the role of Lee Dong Wook’s first love Kang Jong Hee pulled off a screen kiss during her first acting gig, proving her potential as an actress.
And member Yoona who tried her hand at acting before the rest of her members had a kiss scene with actor Kwon Sang Woo in the 2009 drama, ‘Cinderella Man‘. Fans were relieved when her kiss scene with Lee Ji Hoon in the 2008 drama ‘You’re My Destiny‘ got cancelled, but fans are now curious to know if she will have one with Jang Geun Suk in her newest project, ‘Love Rain‘.
Tiffany and Taeyeon both had their kiss scenes in musicals. Tiffany’s kiss took place in ‘Fame‘, and Taeyeon’s in ‘Midnight Sun‘. For both of their kiss scenes, the audience members watching the musical reportedly let out a deep, heavy sigh in unison.
